It's a Mila Family Reunion!

Cheryl and Pat are hosting a Mila Family Reunion for all Mila's pups!

If you're thinking that's a lot of dogs -- you're right! But imagine the fun of seeing three litters of Mila pups together in the same place!

The reunion is set for Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 4:00 pm. It will be at Cheryl and Pat's House!

Invitations will be sent out in the next week or so, so keep your eyes peeled for yours and please plan to join us!

 Cheryl Pat Puppies

A message from Mila's owner:

I decided to breed my wonderful Lab, "Mila" (short for Milagros de los Cerros), after doing lots of research on the good and bad parts of dog breeding. But it was Mila herself who inspired me because she is so intelligent, healthy and sociable, and there were not many yellow labs around.

Mila continues a line of hunting and family dogs, and so have some of her pups, although most have become family dogs rather than working retrievers. Making both hunters and families happy with a new dog is a personal joy.

De Los Cerros Labradors is entirely a family operation with puppies given lots of socialization with people and other dogs. We have only one litter a year, and actually that is just enough puppy work to last for a while.

But ours is not a causal operation, since we pay close attention to nutrition and physical environment. We share the pedigrees of our females and the chosen sires in our web postings, as well as testimonials from some of the pup-owners and weekly "pupdates" whenever we have a litter.

All the pups have been A+ healthy and gone to homes where they are much loved.
